Aaron Leaman

Aron Leaman's handblown glass sculptures celebrate the beauty, balance, and wonder of the natural world. Birds are a recurring subject in his work, symbolizing home and connection to nature, while vibrant colors and intricate patterns draw inspiration from the landscapes around him. Combining glass with stainless steel armatures and stone, he creates playful yet refined sculptures that appear effortlessly balanced, inviting viewers to marvel at both their craftsmanship and their sense of movement. His work reflects a joy in the creative process and encourages curiosity about how each piece comes to life.

Leaman earned a BA in Arts Management from Franklin Pierce College. He continued his studies at the Eugene Glass School and the Corning Museum of Glass under Martin Janecký. Since working with glass beginning in 2001, he has traveled extensively to learn from artists around the world. He currently lives and works in Lowell, Massachusetts, where he founded Mill City Glass Works, a studio dedicated to innovative glass art and community workshops.
