Starting November 1, 2024, The Sunne Savage Gallery will change its name to Savage Godfrey Gallery. The updated name reflects Director Christina Godfrey’s immense influence on the gallery over the past 22 years, reviving the gallery’s focus on contemporary art.
This November the Gallery will open a brick and mortar location at 693 Main Street, Norwell, MA.
OPENING RECEPTION: Friday, November 1st from 6 pm
Savage Godfrey Gallery will exhibit regional contemporary artwork made by emerging to mid-career artists. Art on display will range from abstract to transitional with coastal flare.
The gallery will be a destination on the South Shore of Massachusetts for collectors, makers, designers and enthusiasts. The Gallery will host small group exhibitions, curated by Chistina Godfrey, that will run for 8-12 weeks.
The first exhibition will feature paintings by Kelly Brodrick from Scituate, unique prints by John Thompson from Waltham, and whimsical collages by Amy Ross from Somerville.
