Dina Brennan
Dina Brennan's Color Noise series explores the emotional and sensory power of color through vibrant New England landscapes. By limiting her palette and emphasizing dynamic color relationships, she seeks to create balance, movement, and an emotional connection that extends beyond representation. Her work is driven by questions such as: Can sound be seen? Does color have a voice?
Brennan earned a BFA in Illustration from the Hartford Art School at the University of Hartford and studied illustration and figure drawing in London through American InterContinental University. The James Library & Center for the Arts hosted her first solo exhibition Color Noise in 2025. Most recently Dina was awarded the Abstract Achievement Award at the 2026 South Shore Arts Festival.
